Scared of The Dark

I hate sleeping alone, usually I have to get drunk before going to bed. Last night I thought I would be fine. Went to bed around midnight and put on a film. At first it was fine, but then I started to hear thing. I tried to stay calm since I know that it might just be in my head. Then the dogs started to bark, OMG got so scared. Got up to see if it was anything outside the house, but nothing. If it happens tonight again, I will get freaked out. Hate being in the dark bymyself. Maybe I should get a gun or something else that I can protect myself with. In Thailand guns does not cost much, but having one goes against my beliefs. We'll see... Now I'm gonna take a powerwalk at the beach. Take care!
